Thrace Group has released a new strategy that is fully aligned with the European strategy for plastics and the transition to a more circular economy. A key tenet of this startey is using more recycled materials and the gorup has pledged to substitute more than 8500 tons of virgin raw materials with recycled content by 2025. This effort will signfiicantly support the commission’s objective of increasing the quantity of plastic waste that will be converted into new plastics.

Thrace will also design and make more products that facilitate recycling. Thrace already produces and distributes recycled products and it will increase its investment in the research, design and manufacture of lightweight, recyclable packaging  solutions and innovative technical fabrics. These efforts support commission’s demands that all plastic packcging placed on the market be recyclable or reusable by 2030.
